Position: Fundraising & Marketing Manager

Position Overview

The Zeebah Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose single-minded proposition is the provision of Autism resources. The foundation seeks to appoint a Fundraising and Marketing Manager  who will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to secure financial support and enhance brand visibility for the organisation. This role requires a blend of fundraising expertise, marketing acumen, leadership skills, and a passion for advancing the organisation’s mission.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a marketing strategy.
  2. Building good relationships with prospective donors and clients across multiple sectors
  3. Conduct research on Fundraising opportunities.
  4. Communicating with the public and internal teams, delegating tasks and drawing up plans with quarterly targets.
  5. Have a good number of in-roads to / existing relationships with Donors both within and outside Nigeria.
  6. Draft funding proposals for approval of Trustees of The Zeebah Foundation and submit as approved to potential donors.
  7. Prepare reports on monthly basis on fundraising efforts and submit quarterly budgets.
  8. Provide innovative ways to raise awareness to garner funding.
  9. Implement a variety of marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
  10. Organize and attend non-profit events and network with relevant stakeholders.
  11. Establish good relationships with staff, potential donors, government and the media.
  12. Formulate policies with the Foundation’s Trustees and assist [when necessary in defining our overall corporate direction.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Communications / Fundraising or any related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
  3. Strong understanding of fundraising principles, charity sector, donor cultivation strategies, and marketing best practices.
  4. Proven track record of closing deals
  5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate the organisation’s mission and impact effectively to diverse audiences.
  6. Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience in managing teams and collaborating cross functionally to achieve objectives.
  7. Knowledge of relevant regulations and ethical standards governing fundraising and marketing activities.
  8. Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  9. Commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & popular social media apps

Knowledge & Skills Required
