World Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month 2026: Embracing the Theme ‘Autism and Humanity – Every Life Has Value’
In commemoration of World Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month 2026, The Zeebah Foundation joins the global community in embracing this year’s United Nations theme, “Autism and Humanity – Every Life Has Value.” The Foundation calls for greater inclusion, dignity and support for individuals on the autism spectrum.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects communication, behavior and social interaction. This year’s theme underscores the importance of recognizing the inherent worth of every individual with autism and ensuring they are given equal opportunities to participate meaningfully in society.
As a provider of therapeutic and educational services in Abuja, The Zeebah Foundation remains committed to delivering high-quality, individualized interventions that empower children with autism and related developmental needs. Through our collaboration with families, schools, and communities, we continue to promote environments where every child is respected, supported and given the opportunity to thrive.
“Throughout the month of April, The Zeebah Foundation will engage in awareness and advocacy initiatives aimed at educating the public, promoting inclusion and reinforcing the message that every life has value. These efforts seek to move beyond awareness and more towards sustained acceptance and action. This year’s theme underscores that genuine inclusion starts with acknowledging the humanity of each individual. The Zeebah Foundation calls on parents, educators, policymakers and stakeholders to work together in building a more inclusive society where individuals with autism are valued, respected and empowered.
