The United Nation’s 12th annual edition of the World Autism Awareness Day holds on the 2nd of April,2019.

This event is internationally recognized and celebrated every year, to encourage the Member States of the United Nations to take measures and raise awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) throughout the world. It was enacted by the United Nations General Assembly resolution “62/139.

Dr. Julia Ejiogu to speak at The United Nation’s 12th annual edition of the World Autism Awareness Day

Activities are planned every year to further increase knowledge of the challenges faced by children, individuals and their families.

The Zeebah Foundation’s clinical director Dr. Julia Ejiogu is billed to speak at this year’s World Autism Awareness Day conference on 2nd April 2019 at the UN Headquarters in New York.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Assistive Technologies, Active Participation”. Her panel will elaborate on “Communication: A Human Right”.
